HOPES & DREAMS
Hopes & Dreams was one of those projects that was great to design. We loved every moment of bringing this brand to life, as it allowed us a touch of cheeky fun. The brand encourages kids to dream big while offering a cool, fun, comfortable, and sustainable product, all made locally, in Portugal, in small batches.
For Hopes & Dreams, we designed everything—from the logo, colour schemes, labels, and packaging to notecards, stickers, a social media kit, illustrations, the e-shop website and even clothing print patterns.
The brand’s logo features modernist typography, while whimsical animal illustrations by João Neto add a touch of imagination and fantasy to the graphic layouts. A naif soft cloud motif represents the fleeting nature of hopes and dreams, appearing across various brand elements like embroidery and small labels on the side of sweaters.
We combined these with textures with a dreamlike quality—soft blurs and school paper effects that evoke nostalgia while still feeling modern and playful and then we added a ton of playful stickers to add a unique touch to all orders as they are shipped. These details help create the brand’s atmosphere, and evoke a child’s notebook.
This is a project that celebrates the magic, imagination, and freedom of childhood, embracing the pure moments of growing up, inspiring kids to express their creativity in a fun and playful way — and that’s exactly what our work is about.
